Queue the sappy love music…

10 years ago (on Friday) Leanna made the best decision of her life.

She committed to spend the rest of her life with yours truly.

It was a long time coming from the night we met in 2006 when she was visiting Gardner-Webb University as a prospective student.

She ended up coming to Gardner-Webb. Most likely due to the fact that she couldn’t take her eyes off of me. 

We started dating in 2007 and her life was changed forever.

Who am I kidding? It took me proposing two times for her to actually marry me.

And look at us now, 10 years later.

We have lived in 3 cities. She changed jobs twice. I’ve changed jobs 3 times. We now have two knuckle head boys and an anxious dog.

Living the dream!

I could not imagine a life with out her in it. (and I have a pretty good imagination)

Not only is she the best wife on the f-ing planet, she is the most bad ass boy mom. 

Are we perfect?… Hell No! But we love what we have made together and fight, scratch, and claw to make our little family the best it possibly can be.

Here are some of my favorite memories of the last 10 + years…

1. Watching her be a mom.

2. Camping trips at Lake Norman.

3. The night a certain someone came home on his 45th birthday… IYKYK

4. Attending any wedding with her. (especially if the bar is open)

5. Our 5th wedding anniversary dinner. She ate a filet mignon. We got home and she threw it up. (she was pregnant) – We could have saved a lot of money if we had just went to Chick-fil-A.

6. Eating sushi at RuSans in Charlotte.

7. Laughing at the fact that I had a 4th grade teacher named Mrs. Titty. (It’s true)

I could go on and on and on…

The woman deserves all the credit. She puts up with our boys, our dog, and me. 

She made a great decision 10 years ago. I know it. She knows it. Now, you know it.

In the next 10 years, we will have a 15 year old and 12 year old.

We’ll be having “the talk” with Owen… or should I say… I will be having “the talk”.

Hudson will be getting ready to start middle school… If he’s not in a juvenile detention center…

We will be 46 and 45 years old… DAMN!

I can’t wait to see what happens next.
